I've only heard of it being used, very diluted, on the leaves to prohibit aphids and critters who would eat the leaves...Does shampoo or washing up detergent have a greater effect on plant growth? and wat sort of effect does it hav

I have never heard of that before.
i would think either of these things would not help plant growth but actually kill off the plants. any kind of soapy water isnt good for plants
