What effect does shampoo have on hair?
Shampoo like most cleaners is a type of detergent. It is a mild detergent that can grab oil to create a micelle and allow you to rinse the all of it out of your hair. Some detergents are stronger and harsher than others. Shampoos contain many different chemicals. Some can strip hair of natural moisture and others can leave behind a film of chemicals that adhere to hair despite rinsing. Different kinds of shampoos have different effects on hair. What effect does shampoo have on hair?
